Homework

Homework is set to either:

• Consolidate and build upon theory work done in class.
• Complete coursework assignments.
• Carry out research for use in subsequent lessons.

At AS and A2 level homework is recorded against the scheme of works which are available for download from the Business Studies Library on the VLE.

BTEC students use an interactive workbook that includes both reference material and exercises. In most cases students will be using homework time to complete coursework assignments - as the course is 100% coursework based (supported by work experience). However the teacher may set discrete homework tasks when required and relevant.

The Fronter Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is used as a tool for both resources and assessment at key stages 4 and 5. All tasks that students need to complete are on Fronter. Work is handed in and subsequently assessed electronically via Fronter.
