The Department
Critical Thinking helps develop skills such as analysis, evaluation and composing reasoned arguments.
These are skills required by Universities, employers and most of the subjects you will study.
- It allows you to think deeply about issues concerning society, ethics, culture and personal responsibility.
- It will help develop your academic skills needed for study and personal skills needed for life.
Students who have a higher degree of critical thinking invariably get better grades, a matter which has been highlighted by the Universities and Colleges Application Scheme (UCAS).
