PE Kit

It is department policy that even when students are ill or injured they are to bring PE kit to participate in the lesson as a leader, official or coach. If students are well enough to be in college it is vital that learning still takes place. If students can not get involved with physical activity a written letter is required from parent/guardians.

All students are reminded that the college PE kit is as follows:

Indoor Kit

Royal Blue Callington CC Polo Shirt

Callington CC Black Shorts

White Socks

Indoor clean trainers NOT leisure wear

Outdoor Kit

Blue Games Shirt

Blue & White Callington CC Games Socks

Studded Boots for grass & Trainers

Students are permitted to wear plain Black tracksuit bottoms. All students can wear their blue games shirt as an extra layer during cold weather.

Shin pads MUST be worn for all football and hockey training and games.

We also HIGHLY RECOMMEND that gum shields are worn for all rugby and hockey training and games.

Both items are available from the PE office, shin pads £3 and gum shields £2.
Spare shin pads can also be borrowed from the PE office.

*** All jewellery must be removed and long hair must be tied back before a PE lesson. ***

Valuables and PE Lessons

The PE department are strongly recommending that no valuables are brought into college, especially on the days when students have PE.

In order to minimise the risk of theft, all valuables that students do have need to be named, placed in a small bag or  small envelope and handed to a teacher in the changing rooms to put into the department's valuables box.  If a student has lessons near the 3G Astroturf, lockers are available and can be used as an alternative to the valuables box for a deposit of £1.00 each time they are used.

If students choose not to hand in valuables and do not write or engrave their names on their valuables/bag or envelope, they do so at their own risk.
