Big Dance

The Big Dance Schools Pledge is a Guinness World Record attempt

It took place on 18th May 2012, at 1pm, the same day that the Olympic Torch arrived in the UK.

Callington Community College had been preparing over several weeks, teaching the dance to all Year 7s, supported by some Year 12 and 13 students. The event was organised by Nicole De Ste Croix, Head of Dance and supported by the dance and PE department. On the day the students did fantastically well, showing enthusiasm and team work. The event was a huge success and we hope to be part of a new world record!
