Callington students complete Ten Tors Challenge 2010

Congratulations to the Callington Community College teams

The 35-mile and 45-mile teams completed the Challenge.  The 55-mile team was doing well on the first day, but a member of the team was taken ill, and the others chose to drop out rather than carry on without her.

We are very proud of all the students who took part, and of the staff members who organised them and helped them to train.  Staff involved were Mr C Morrell (English & Media), Mr K Hubbard (Construction), Mr C Purchase (Astronomer), Mr A Cozens (ICT Technician), Mr K Lawrence (Geography), Mrs N Hogg (Design & Technology) and Mrs E Cooper (History).
