Local graffiti artist Stuart Taylor worked with the students to design a range of unique Hallmark Mother's Day cards for the charity campaign.
The designs are based on five winning messages, chosen by the public, from the Cards for CureTM Mums Wall. The wall, which can be found on-line at http://cardsforacure.hallmark.co.uk/, holds messages from people across the UK including celebrities such as Holly Willoughby.
Stuart Taylor, from Graffiti Workshop UK, said: "This is such an exciting initiative for Graffiti Workshop to be involved in and it's a fantastic opportunity for the students at Callington Community College too. We'll make sure that we produce five unique cards that any mum would be delighted to have for Mother's Day!"
Each message captures a unique new way of showing our mums we care but only five messages will be made into a card to go on sale in 2012.
The Mums' Wall is part of the on-going Cards for a CureTM campaign which, with the support of Hallmark Card sales, has contributed over £1 million to Breast Cancer Campaign and Action Breast Cancer, a programme of the Irish Cancer Society, to date.
The opportunity for students to take part in this project follows their recent work with Graffiti Workshop UK on the ‘revamp the skate ramp' project for Callington Town Park. This was a project developed through Callington and Saltash CATS.
