Chinese Year of the Rabbit

A troupe of Chinese students from the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine, China, visited the College on 2nd February 2011

The troupe are  currently seconded to London South Bank University, and are presently being hosted and sponsored by the Peninsula Group Confucius Classroom, as part of the South West region's Chinese New Year celebrations.

They worked with about 50 Dance and Drama students in Years 7, 11 and 12.  Students had the opportunity to learn more about Chinese culture, watch dance and Tai Chi performances.  As part of the morning they were also able to try out some of the Dance moves and Tai Chi themselves, including welcoming in the Year of the Rabbit.
