College Hosts Lego Robotics Final

In December 2011 we hosted the Regional League Final

The teams taking part were hoping to qualify for a place in the national finals.

The competition consists of 4 main elementsL

1. Table competition - The teams have 2 mins 30 for their robot to complete as many tasks as possible
2. Core values - The teams are assessed on their team work skills and the way they take part
3. Presentation - The teams have to complete and present a small project around the use of robots with food
4. Technical design - The teams have to be able to talk to judges about their robot and justify the decisions they made when building

The Callington team, The Celtic Bashers, acquitted themselves well, winning the Core Values award.  A great effort form our team.

Exmouth came out on top, just ahead of West Exe Engineers.
