Cornwall Council's Road Safety Unit photographed Callington students for campaign...

A group of students - 209 in total - were photographed to represent the number of fatal road accidents on Cornwall's roads in 2008.

The pictures will be used as part of a Road Safety campaign in the county.

Statistics compiled by the Cornwall Council Road Safety Unit show that although the number of serious accidents dropped from 269 in 2007 to 209 in 2008, the number of fatalities increased by more than 20%.
