Cornwall Schools Cross Country Championships 2012

Callington congratulates trophy winners

Twelve Callington students competed in the Championship at Truro on January 21st.

County Champions in the Intermediate Boys team competition are Sam Lane De Courtin (Year 10), Ben Parham (Year 10) and Alex Caers (Year 11) - pictured above.

County Champion in the Senior Girls competition is Alice Rogers (Year 12), and in the Senior Boys competion, Sam Parham (Year 8).

Other trophies on the day were: Sam Lane De Courtin, 3rd in Intermediate Boys; Jasmine Grey (Year 7), 3rd in Junior Girls) and Tess Masselink (Year 9), 3rd in Intermediate Girls.

All of the Callington Community College competitors performed well on the day, and the College is very proud of them.
