Cross-Country Success

Callington Community College sent a team of runners to The Cornwall Schools Cross Country Championships at Truro School

The Year 7 Boys' team came 3rd overall as did the Year 8/9 Boys team.

Individual achievements went to Sam Parham, 1st in the Minor Boys race and Sam Lane De Courtin, 3rd in the Junior Boys race.

The two Sams, Ben Parham and Jess Behennah go on to represent Cornwall Schools at the Southwest Championships on the 12th February at Taunton. The three boys and Jess have also been selected to represent Cornwall in the McCains World Cross Country Trials incorporating UK Inter-counties at Crofton Park, Birmingham in March.
