College Closure Thursday 30th June 2011

The College will be closed to students on Thursday 30th June, because a significant number of staff will be taking part in the industrial action called by the NUT and ATL.

The Leadership Tem in conjunction with the Governing Body has concluded that the safety and welfare of students would be compromised if the College stayed open.

Should the planned industrial action be called off, then the College will be able to open as normal.  In this event, a letter will be sent home with students, and a further notice posted here on the website.

We are aware that school closures cause inconvenience to parents and carers, and we hope that informing you of the situation early will help you to make appropriate arrangements for the 30th June.

Please note: the Year 9/10 Celebration Evening planned for the 30th June has been postponed - provisionally to Monday 4th July.
