Callington Community College celebrated the European Day of Languages. Students within their tutor groups and all across the school joined together to celebrate plurilingualism and intercultural understanding.
The school canteen served a tasty variety of "food from around the world", including Spanish Omelette, pasta bakes to represent Italy and sausages and chips to represent Great Britain.
Students and teachers took part in a series of fun quizzes that involved not only language skills but also research and cross-curricular activities.
The European Day of Languages has been celebrated since 2001 and involves millions of people across 45 participating countries.
