Yvonne was one of four nominees from the South Wales region recognised for their achievements during the course of their second year studies. She was recognised as being "an excellent role model... well organised and conscientious", and is in the top 5% of her degree year, demonstrating strong performance across all modules.
The Association of Women In Property (WIP) provides a dynamic forum for the professional development of women in the property and construction industries.
For the annual awards, universities across the UK are invited to nominate their best students who must submit their CVs and a piece of coursework. Following an interview with a panel of high profile regional judges drawn from industry, higher education and including their WIP regional Chairman, the ten regional finalists are decided. Each is awarded a £300 prize and assistance in achieving paid summer work placement.
Callington Community College is proud to congratulate Yvonne, who left the College in 2008.
