New Head Teacher

In January 2009, Callington Community College welcomes a new Head Teacher, Mr Gary Lobbett.

Mr Lobbett comes to us from his previous position as Deputy Headteacher at Sir Bernard Lovell School at Oldland Common in Bristol.  His appointment was the unanimous decision of of the interview panel, which included College Governors, members of the Senior Management Team and professional advisors from Cornwall Education Authority.  A group of students was given the opportunity to interview all candidates, and their views were considered in the decision-making process.
