Vardafjell Videregående Skole is an upper secondary school (age 15-18) offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme to students. The link between our two schools was established in 2010, with reciprocal visits by staff in March and June.
The initial focus was IB and there will be an IB exchange with 18 Norwegian students and two members of staff coming to Callington for four days from the 26th-29th September.
They will be experiencing some IB lessons at Callington as well as exploring Cornwall, going to the coast, the Eden Project and staying in students' homes.
In April 2011, Callington students will be making the return journey to Norway to visit their school and see some sites. We hope that IB students or other sixth form students interested in a cultural exchange will offer a home for our visitors during their stay.
