PGCE Training on Bodmin Moor

Training School PGCE students learnt about the organisation of school trips.

A group of PGCE students spent the day near Minions. It was a day on the moors learning about health and safety and organising out of school trips.

Phil Gibson, who used to teach at Callington, was the leader for the day. The day included team building tasks and orienteering exercises.  Phil gave a very informative talk about the history of the moors.  The group walked up to Cheesewring and had afternoon tea at the teashop in Minions.

It was a great day out and all had a good time.
