Tamsyn Strange, 16, was one of about 30 children on the school bus on Wednesday morning, the 4th of November. She took control of the situation ahead of the arrival of the emergency services.
After phoning for an ambulance, Tamsyn called the College to let them know what had happened, and kept the rest of the students on the bus, making sure that nobody panicked.
One woman was taken to hospital with chest pains and a cuts following the crash. The road was closed for more than an hour, and mini-buses were sent to take the students to school.
The College is very proud of Tamsyn, and glad that she was in the right place at the right time.
