Rag Week Donates to Hospice

A cheque for £2000 was presented to Childrens' Hospice South West

After a very successful fundraising RAG Week back in October, the students from Callington Community College took great pleasure in presenting a cheque for £2,000 to Judy Pride from the Childrens Hospice South West at the new Little Harbour Hospice at Porthpean in Cornwall.

Judy gave the students along with staff members Alan Yendell and RAG Week organiser Carolyn Woodman, a tour of the amazing new facility which has recently opened and already welcomed its first patients.

The students were really pleased with their fundraising efforts, but after seeing the Hospice first hand are now planning their next fundraising activities, so watch this space!
