Students at Callington Community College helped to launch the new Raise a Smile Campaign last week on behalf of the Children's Hospice South West.
Students in nearly every year group took part in an activity which involved creating smiley face paper plates to raise awareness of the new Hospice at Little Harbour, Porthpean.
The event was led by the Sixth Form students who have adopted the Hospice as their chosen charity for the year. So far the Sixth Form have raised over £2200 and hope to increase this by the end of the year.
