Whilst results in many subject areas are impressive, exceptionally high standards were achieved in both Drama and Media Studies.  It is also very pleasing that students achieved very well in Chemistry.

Congratulations to Katharine Collard, Jon Vernon and Rebecca Philp who each achieved three A Grades at Advanced Level.  Having achieved six A grades at A level, A grade in AS Psychology and A* grade in the Extended Project, Jos Kirkman has been offered a place to study Medicine at the prestigious University of St Andrews in Edinburgh.

At AS level, the majority of subjects achieved 100% pass rate.  Boys performed very well with an improvement in pass rate from 80% in 2008 to 88.5% this year. Congratulations to Hannah Feakins and Bethan Jones who achieved four A grades and to Jack Marks, Claire Pritchard and Luka Webb who each achieved three A grades.
