Teams of Gifted and Talented Science students build robotic rovers

Twelve Year 10 Gifted and Talented Scientists came together to build a robotic rover.

The four teams had to build a robot which would carry a camera and data log light and sound. The robots were constructed using ‘Lego Mindstorms'. Once built the robot was programmed to drive into a cave, log the data and return to base. Data was then downloaded to a computer and analysed.

Successful students found evidence of life and water!
