A group of Callington students have returned from the trip of a lifetime to Johnson Space Centre, Houston and the Kennedy Space Centre, Florida.
Tamsyn Joll (Year 13), who went on the trip, has written in detail about their time in the United States, their discussions with Astronauts and their experience of zero gravity. You can read the full report here...
You can also read all about their Space Education Adventure through their blog and photos.
The students worked with engineers and scientists from NASA and Lockheed Martin as well as visiting both NASA historical and operational facilities. They also spent time in American schools, making and launching rockets with the children there.
