Amber Gell from Lockheed Martin, Houston is a NASA Explorer, one of the new generation of engineers building the Orion Space Craft. Orion will be the crew vehicle that replaces the current space shuttle, and is designed to transport crews to the International Space Station and then in the coming years, onto the Moon.
Amber's visit will culminate in the official launch of the College's new CHiil Centre, a hub for the community to become involved with the international world through video conferencing as well as being a centre for Innovation and lifelong learning.
