Start Date:1st December 2011 8:30:am
For the Christmas Hampers project, students are invited to bring in food and gift items.
In College the project is co-ordinated by some of our Year 11 students who are taking a Volunteering course. They will work with members of the Lions Club who oversee the distribution of the hampers to families in the local area.
Items should be handed in at central registration on Thursday 1st December. In order to raise the profile of the day the Student Council have requested that we have a themed day with students being asked to wear a shirt and tie/business wear/smart clothes on the day.
The Student Council have agreed that a Mufti Day at the end of this term on Thursday 15th December will raise funds for Save The Children. Students will be asked to pay £1 to be able to wear non uniform on this day.
Please note: the College will be closing at 12.20pm on Thursday 15th December.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank students, parents and carers for their continued support with the fundraising events at the College.
