During half term 15 students, accompanied by two teachers, travelled to the German capital to practise their German and see the sights. Students enjoyed a full programme of events including bike riding in the snow, visiting a German grammar school in Potsdam and touring the German Parliament building. Several students had never been on a plane, so the flight from Bristol to Berlin was a new experience in itself.
A group of 40 students from Year 8 went to Cologne (Köln) in Germany. Four members of staff accompanied them: Ms Masters, Mr Dew and Mr Kerzerho, and PGCE student teacher Elisabeth Ellerman.
