Coursework
Before students submit any coursework for marking, they will be asked to sign an authentication statement confirming that they have read and followed regulations laid down by the examinations boards.
The Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) has produced notices on behalf of AQA, City & Guilds, CCEA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC relating to:
- Coursework Assessments for GCSE, GCE, ELC, Functional Skills, Project Qualifications
- Controlled Assessments for GCSE and Principal Learning
These documents include advice on:
- making sure the work you submit is your own work
- how to reference information from your subject research
- good practice in preparing your coursework
- plagiarism
- penalties for breaking the rules

Read the full Notice carefully to avoid making mistakes that may disqualify you, not only for one subject, but for all subjects.
