"Grease" - Outstanding Success

Congratulations to students and staff for a superb College production this year.

More than a 100 youngsters from Years 7 - 13 were involved in this spectacular event, which was a sell-out most nights.  There were two casts performing on alternate evenings.

All performances were outstanding, but mention should go to Danny played by Michael Jope and Elliott Coombe and to Sandy played by Hetty Fruer-Denham and Meg Chaplin. 

Audiences were entertained during the performance by the light-hearted chatter of the  two DJs Twinkle Star and Angel Delight, played by Sally Shipton/Lorraine Penwarden and Maia Cronin/Laura Cottam.   They played hits from the 50s and had the audiences singing - and dancing!

The production was Directed by Jonathon Plunkett and Chris Neve and they were assisted by two Year 12 students Pippa Sainsbury and Dulcie Cox.  The very imaginative set was constructed by Chris Neve and his Stage Crew.  The Musical Director was Adam Lane and he was accompanied by music students.

Well done to everyone who took part in the production - we look forward with anticipation to next years production.
